I’m Catherine Thompson — a surface pattern designer and visual artist who creates vibrant artwork for fabric, wallpaper, stationery, and charming children's books.I began as a fine artist, painting designs by hand, but quickly fell in love with transforming my artwork into patterns that could live on the surfaces around us. Today, my work ranges from painterly botanicals to modern, graphic, and abstract designs — all connected by a love of color, detail, and joyful living.I’m especially passionate about creating luxury-feeling wallpaper and textiles that help you design spaces that feel inspiring, personal, and happy to live in.From my studio in South Florida, I spend my days creating fresh surface designs that have appeared on home décor, wall coverings, paper goods, and more.
